Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Face Care – Review

You’ve probably heard of Burt’s Bees before – you may have even used one of their body lotions or lip balms. They specialize in natural skin care products and have a brand new line out: Intense Hydration, with clary sage.

My skin gets so dry in the winter that it flakes and peels. That’s the state it was in last month when I started using Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser and Night Cream.  I’m a natural kind of girl, don’t tend to use a lot of skin products and wear very little makeup – usually just lipstick or gloss. The fact that Burt’s Bees products are 99% natural very much appeals to me.

To use the cleanser, all I need is a pea-sized amount on my finger. It feels good on my face, and it rinses off easily, with no residue left behind. The instructions say to avoid the eye area, so if you use eye makeup, you’ll want to use a separate eye makeup remover. Tapping my finger in the night cream gives me enough cream to smooth all over my face. It smooths on easily and doesn’t feel at all greasy. I even applied it to my face during the day when I first started using it. Since I can use each so sparingly, I believe my products will last for months before I need to buy more.

And the cream & cleanser work, too! After just one day of using the cleanser and night cream, my skin wasn’t peeling anymore, and there was a real difference in how smooth my skin was in just a few days. I’ve been using them for a month now, and although my blemishes haven’t completely disappeared, I actually get less than before. I’m going to have to find room in my budget to keep on using Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration products.

Thanks Burt’s Bees!

The Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser retails for $12.99 and comes in a generous 170 grams and the Night Cream is $29.99 for 50 grams. Also available in the Intense Hydration Line is a Day Lotion, an Eye Cream, and a Treatment Mask. Go to the Intense Hydration page for more information.

Love, Luck &

I received Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser and Night Cream and samples as part of the Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration BzzCampaign. All opinions are my own.

  1. We had a gift package of this for babies from this company with our daughter.
She had such BAD burns all over her skin that we rushed her to the hospital.
I have never tried them again and cringe every time I see it.
