There are 15 cut and paste activities in this pack, plus 2 larger products, so 17 activities in all. From a teaching point of view, having things like parables in a mini-book to read over, and the side-by-side collection of prophecies in the Old Testament and their fulfillments in the New Testament is just terrific. The entire set of 15 activities assembles and folds all up into a single file folder, very ingenious. This is considered a “lap book” and was my first foray into lap books. There was a bit of a learning curve on my part, as far as putting the whole thing together, but now that I have the hang of it I’m sure the next lap book will be easier. I look forward to bringing this out again and reading over it with my children in the future as we continue to do bible readings. If I had had more than 6 weeks to review this, I would have chosen to complete one per week with my children, as I found they became less than enthusiastic about all the cutting, pasting, and colouring. One a week would allow more study and discussion on the topics and scriptures presented. However, when it came time to do “The Armour of God” – my children were absolutely delighted. They eagerly completed it in one sitting, and were excited to pin it up their creations on the wall. Here they are…
