Mark Kistler – Online Art Lessons

A Homeschool Co-op reminder just landed in my inbox.  Mark Kistler’s program is one of the current "group buys".  Mark Kistler has a Public Television show called "Imagination Station".  In addition, he offers books, CD’s, and Online Art Lessons.

I have viewed a clip of his online lessons and they look fantastic!  Haven’t tried them with my children yet, but I think my 5 year old is especially going to like them.  You can see Mark drawing up close as he goes, and he’s quite engaging and has a good sense of humour.  For details and to view one of Mark’s art lessons, click HERE.  Membership in the Homeschool Co-op is free, and I have personally ordered products through them.  Through the group buy, you can receive 3 years of access to hundred of online art lessons for $39.95 US, regularly $99.  You can watch the lessons over and over as much as you want during that time.  This is quite a deal!

UPDATE:  I let my 5 year old try a free "Mini-Marshmallow" lessons (for 4-7 year olds) at Mark Kistler’s website.  One wasn’t enough for her, she proceeded to complete all four in one sitting!  Needless to say, I signed up for the group buy, received the link right away, and my little girl is doing multiple lessons on a daily basis.  Now I just have to get her off the computer so my son can give it a try LOL.

Laugh,
