Day 4 of The Mom Conference Starts April 10th!
I did a lot of sewing yesterday (on my daughter’s Frozen Elsa costume), so I listened to a few of The Mom Conference speakers while I worked away. I played the videos on my iPhone.
I listened to Holly Rigsby talk about fitness and she inspired me to get moving. Katie of WellnessMama.com gave 5 Practical Natural Remedies for Moms. Now that’s one video I would like to watch over again – so many great ideas for easy, natural DIY remedies for what ails you and the kids. I’m also glad I listened to Nicole Carpenter speaking on “Define Your Time.” I love the way she phrases a “no” response to a request of your time. I think I have to resolve to say no more often!
Because I was doing so much sewing, I also squeezed in Dino and Shannon’s talk about their Top 3 Successful Marriage Tips. What great advice, and so simple and easy to use in your own marriage – mostly it was reminders to actually TALK with your husband. In this day and age, it’s easy to forget to communicate.
Sometimes it can be tough being a mom and homemaker, and it’s great to have access to these daily videos!
