World Math Day is a worldwide, online math competition for students aged 5-18. 2009 is the 3rd annual competition. The levels are set up as follows:
Level 1: Ages 5 to 7
Level 2 & 3: Ages 8 to 11
Level 4: Ages 12+
World Math Day runs for 48 hours from your local start time, which you are given upon registration. Registration is free, simply click on "register here" and fill out the form. Once you register, your child can
start practising, even from their iPhone or iPod.
On March 4th, students play against each other in mental arithmetic games on the website. Equations are displayed on-screen, and the child solves as many as possible correctly within 60 seconds.
