You know what – I am not yet completely prepared for the fall *gasp*! It has been a crazy busy summer, and I am looking forward to getting everything in line in the next few weeks 🙂 Here is what I DO know we’re using so far…
For both children:
Tapestry of Grace, Year 3 (covers History, Geography, Language Arts, Bible) combined with curricula suggestions from The Well-Trained Mind (which I still have to look up!)
Dr. Jay Wile’s new Science Curriculum (FREE for Canadian homeschoolers, ask me how!)
How to Teach Science – we will be using these free lessons to go over the table of elements
For my 12 year old:
Teaching Textbooks: Pre-Algebra
Henle Latin
The Write Foundation
For my 7 year old:
MathRider and Star Wars Math
Prima Latina
On my wish-list is Rosetta Stone French – it’s on sale right now but I’m not sure it’s in the budget this year…
We started this week; enjoy your last weeks of summer! I still want to see Tapestry of Grace more than what I can see online. I have read of many families that like it, but want to actually flip through the pages myself. How can I get Dr. Wile’s curriculum free for an American family?
Jennifer, did you already try the 3-week sample of TOG online? In addition, many TOG users have Tapestry Teas to show their friends the curriculum – check around and see if anyone is doing so in your area 🙂
Sorry, not sure why, but Dr. Wile’s curriculum is under development and free only for non-US.
You enjoy the rest of the summer too!
I would love to find out about Dr. Wile’s free curriculum!! How can I find out??
Thanks!
I’ll email you with the info, Jen 🙂
