March Break Camps in Mainland Nova Scotia 2014

imageWhat’s going on for children and families during March Break on the mainland, March 8 – 16th?


Art Gallery of Nova Scotia
In-Gallery Activities

Wednesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 13
1:30am – 3:00pm
Drop-in and sketch in the gallery with drawing tips from a well-qualified artist. Drawing boards, pencils and paper will be supplied. Regular admission for non-members, free for members.

Sunday, March 16, 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Bring the whole family to this hands-on arts exploration! “Pop Goes the Easel!” gives a musical twist to the well-loved Family Sundays program. This session features a live, interactive performance by percussion trio, Terry O’Mahoney, Michael Baker, and D’Arcy Gray of Symphony Nova Scotia at 1:30pm.

Ross Creek March Break Art Camps
For ages 5-18. Camps run from 9am-5pm and are $65 per day or $295 for all 5 days of fun. Lunch and snacks provided at no extra cost. Bus service is an additional $15 per day or $60 per week.

Create animations & video games.
March Media Creations & Contraptions for Ages 6-10
March 10-14, 9am-4pm, $337 + HST
March Media for Ages 11-14
March 12-16, 9am-4pm, $337 + HST

South Shore – Petite Riviere School
Saturday, March 8th
March Media Creations for 8-12 year olds
9am-3pm, bring a lunch.


Dartmouth Players March Break Camp
Dates: March 10-14
For ages 7+. This camp takes students through process of putting on a musical culminating in a full performance on stage.
Cost: $155.00

Th’YARC March Break Arts Camp
Dates: March 10-14, 9am-4pm
From dance, art and theatre, March Break Arts Camp will explore and initiate the creative personalities of 15 participants, ages 9-16.
Cost: $95.00/ $75 members


Creative Kids Education Centre March Break Art Camps
9am-3:45pm. Themed portion of camps is 9am-noon. Optional childcare from 7am until 6pm at no extra charge.

Choose from:
The Cat in the Hat knows a lot about Science, The Minecraft Quest Challenge, Rainbow Craft Week, or Magic School Bus themes.

$155 per week per child
Enjoy a week of flying fun! Make Super Stealth Planes! Awesome Aerodynamics and Big Blue Bonanza are sure to be exciting. Parachute through the sky during the Rainbow Relay!
