Halifax – ViewFinders March Break Camp: Animated Minds

ViewFinders and the Sun Life Financial Chair in Adolescent Mental Health, is looking for youth ages 12 to 18 who are interested in learning how to create great animation with an important message!

ViewFinders March Break Camp: Animated Minds is a FREE camp where youth will create a series of stop-motion animation Public Service Announcements or short films that will aim to cultivate and communicate tolerance and understanding for adolescent mental health and well-being.

The camp takes place at Radio Room of the CBC Radio Building in Halifax, Nova Scotia. March 16 – 20, 2009. Applications are available for download at

No previous experience is required, and students of all abilities are encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply for Animated Minds is February 27, 2009.


Kimberly is a homeschooling mother of two living with her dear husband of over 25 years in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She works from home as a homeschool coach and offers OBM, writing, editing, social media, and tech services. In her free time she likes to hand-spin, knit, read, volunteer in local theatre, and horseback ride.
