Welcome to Homeschooling in Nova Scotia! I am Kimberly Charron, and I help families homeschool in Nova Scotia.
As a homeschool mom based in Nova Scotia, I created this website to share resources, practical tips, and encouragement with other parents, whether you’re just getting started or looking for ongoing encouragement.
This space is here to support your journey and help you feel confident educating your children at home.
Our Homeschool Story
We started homeschooling in 2005. As for many families, it was both exciting and at times a little overwhelming. Over the years, we tried different curriculuma, learned what worked (and what didn’t), and discovered how rich and rewarding homeschool life can be.
My own two children homeschooled all the way through high school graduation and went on to graduate from college and university.
This website was born from a desire to share what we’ve learned, especially from a Nova Scotian perspective, where access to accurate information, local programs, and community really matter.
What You’ll Find on this Website:
- Information specific to Nova Scotia homeschool regulations and programs
- Tips and tools for organizing your homeschool
- Encouragement and real talk about the ups and downs of homeschool life
- Reviews of homeschool curricula and resources
Why I Share
