Travel Kits: A Simple Way to Bless Others – Review

Travel Kits is an e-book put together by The Old Schoolhouse.  I received this e-book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow!  I could not believe how thorough this e-book was when I first received it. There are 91 jam-packed pages full of ideas.  I LOVE all the full-colour photographs throughout to help you visualize what it’s talking about.

So what is a travel kit?  “A travel kit is a collection of items that will entertain and/or delight the passengers (especially the younger passengers), thus makingthe trip more pleasant for everyone.” This is *especially* useful for someone like me who lives on an island and fairly regularly makes the 5-hour one-way trip to the big city on the mainland 🙂  And before you think you have to run out and purchase a whole bunch of things to make a travel kit – there are ideas for things from the library such as books or audio books (a list of books is included), and hand-made or baked items too, with some included recipes. And surprise, there are ideas for travel kits for ALL ages, boys, girls, and even adults! Hey, we get bored on long trips too LOL.

Also included are numerous ideas for wrapping paper, creative containers to hold the kits in, and fun ideas for when to open each “gift” such as every time you see a blue car. This isn’t just a book to help you make kits for travel, either. These “travel” kits would also make great gifts!  I have been known to put packages something like this together for birthdays, and now I have more ideas! Many of the items suggested can be found at the dollar store, so think of the savings for the next birthday party your child is invited to. I will be opening up this e-book EVERY time a gift-giving opportunity comes up, or anytime a loved one is travelling or we’re taking one of our long road trips.

Travel Kits is now available for download for $12.45 US at The Schoolhouse Store.
