2022 Canadian Homeschool Conference Feb 7 to 12

Winter is here, complete with bitter cold, all these storms lately (and another one on the way), and the dreaded winter doldrums. This is the time of year when homeschoolers often start to feel sluggish and weary (don’t we all?)- especially these past couple years. It’s easy to get discouraged and question all the decisions you’ve made.

This is one reason that homeschool community is vital to your survival and success. It’s also one of the big reasons the annual Canadian Homeschool Conference is held in February every year. Because we all can use a hand up and over this slump.

The 6th annual Canadian Online Homeschool Conference kicks off on Monday, February 7th, 2022 and runs through the 12th. You can register right here. It is free to attend live.

It is a 6-day online event featuring knowledgeable speakers, a vendor hall, opportunities to interact with other attendees, fun, and giveaways! No need to leave the comfort of your own home (or pay for gas or travel).

Speakers and Sessions

The 2022 Canadian Homeschool Conference features nore than 50 sessions to help you with your homeschool journey – whether you are new or have been doing this for a while. There are also sessions for your kids to enjoy. And some sessions are specifically for families with neurodiverse learning challenges.

Most of these sessions are pre-recorded, meaning that you can watch them whenever they fit into your day instead of needing to be online at a specific time. Watch for my session on Friday! But there are some live sessions too – where you can interact and ask questions from live speakers and open Zoom chats where we will hang out and talk about homeschool life, and you can get answers to your questions, and enjoy being a community.

Vendor Hall

Visit some of your favourite homeschool vendors in a vendor hall full of Canadian companies and resources and learn about fantastic new ones! Check out Oak Meadow, The Learning House, Math Canada (Math U-See), Usborne Books, CHER, Donna Ward, and more! You’ll get a goodie bag from the vendors full of coupons and special offers! Plus there are giveaways and prizes.

Don’t Miss Out

Lifetime Access Pass

The lifetime access pass costs only $17. It gives you lifetime access to all 2022 Conference sessions at once. You don’t have to wait until the assigned day for any sessions and will still have access to them all after the conference is over. Canadian Homeschool Conference April 14 to 18 2020

We’re stuck in our homes. Homeschool conferences won’t be held in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick this spring (I was going to both of them so that makes me feel sad). Many parents are home with their kids for the first time, looking for homeschool information. Whether you’re a new or experienced homeschooler, we can all use encouragement during this difficult time. Enter my friends and fellow homeschool moms Ana Willis and Cori Dean. They’ve put together a new Canadian homeschool conference, yay!
